† Karl Unterkircher Expedition Nanga Parbat (6447 m) - Juni/July 2008: 5:14 min YouTube - Views 18303 on July 19, 2008 - "K.Unterkircher Exped.Nanga Parbat '08 - South Chongra 5th".

First U.S. Town Powered Completely By Wind. 4 wind turbines that supply electricity to the small town of 1,300 residents
First U.S. Town Powered Completely By Wind
Rock Port, Mo., has an unusual crop: 4 wind turbines that supply electricity to the small town of 1,300 residents make it the first community in the United States to operate solely on wind power.
The turbines will also provide savings to rural electric companies and will provide electric service for at least 20 years, the anticipated lifetime of the turbines.
"Anybody who is currently using Rock Port utilities can expect no increase in rates for the next 15 to 20 years," Crawford said.

† ♫ ♫ ♫ Pachelbel's Canon in D major is one of the most recognised and famous classical compositions
(* August 1653 in Nürnberg; † 3. März 1706 ebenda) Johann Pachelbel was the last great composer of the Nuremberg tradition and the last important southern German composer who brought the south German organ tradition to its peak. He composed a large body of sacred and secular music. Pachelbel's work enjoyed enormous popularity during his lifetime; he had many pupils and his music became a model for the composers of south and central Germany. Today, Pachelbel is best known for the Canon in D major. It was written in or around 1680 and is one of the most famous pieces of sacred music.
